Description

RS-280 is a dark red ultra high temperature sealant tape for use while processing Thermosetting and thermoplastic composite assemblies requiring forming, consolidation or curing cycles above 625°F (329°C) and up to 800°F (426°C). RS-280 offers more tack than other tapes with similar temperature ratings.

Application

RS-280 is designed to adhere to all tooling surfaces and bagging films used for high temperature processing.

RS-280 will maintain it’s adhesion strength throughout long cure cycles at 800°F (426°C).
