Silicone Rubber Sheet

Manufacturer

Richmond Aircraft Products

Description

Our Silicone Rubber Sheet (SRS) is a specially formulated high elongation and high temperature bagging material (up to 450°F for short periods of time).  The SRS material also exhibits good tensile strength as well as excellent tear and abrasion resistance.

Application

As a cured sheet, SRS can be used in oven/autoclave cures or as a debulk bag.  It will not take a "set" and will return to its natural flat shape even after multiple cycles.  Silicone Reusable vacuum bags made from silicone rubber are designed to be used multiple times (durability varies) and are usually cost effective after only a dozen cycles.

Our uncured Silicone Rubber Sheet can be formed and cured into complicated shapes for internal pressure bladders or conformal vacuum bags.  Please contact our sales office for more information on the curing process of uncured Silicone Rubber Sheet, designated as SRS-50UG-05.
