Description

6115-02 Tape is produced from a skived & tensilized PTFE film and coated with a “high temperature” silicone adhesive. The tensilized film provides higher tensile strength, lower elongation and higher dielectric strength than regular skived film.

Application

6115-02 Tape is used in electrical applications such as coil wraps, separators, transformers, slot liners and harness wrapping where good insulation and heat resistance are needed. 6115-02 is also used in mechanical applications requiring high temperature resistance and a non-stick surface such as roll protection in flat die extrusion.
